Why jersey not piqué?
A different ball game
Polo shirts are usually made from piqué, a knitted fabric that’s very recognisable, a bit crisp to the touch and often found wafting at small yellow spherical objects on tennis courts. However, you asked us to create something a bit more laidback, so we went for organic cotton jersey. The same 220 gsm fabric as our Ultimate T-shirt . It’s softer, lighter, and generally more easygoing. It wears like a tee, but with a bit more oomph.

What makes the cut more relaxed?
Neither slim nor baggy
The straight cut strikes an important balance. It doesn’t restrict you, and nor does it drape you in excess fabric. The shoulders fit well and everything follows from there on down, following your line without overly emphasising it. No tight bits, no darts, no sleeve that pulls. Wear it tucked in or left out, with jeans, chinos or shorts - you just don’t have to think about it too much. If you're between two sizes, go for the smaller one.
