A Twill with Substance
To craft top-notch shorts, you need top-notch material. That's why we stuck with the same Italian twill we've trusted since day one, that’s TBM for those of you who’ve tried our Chinos. This robust 260g/m2 cotton twill, characterised by its diagonal rib, is compact, durable, and incredibly supple. It's perfect from the first sniff of spring right through to the lingering warmth of autumn.
The Cut is Right
When it came to the cut, every detail matters. You don't want shorts which are either too tight or too baggy verging on Bermudas. So we worked away and identified the sweet spot that works great across different body types.
Our Chinos’ little brother
These aren't your run-of-the-mill pair of shorts. They're blessed with a level of construction that’s typically reserved for smarter slacks such as our chinos. No second-rate lining on our watch, here the waistband is lined with cotton twill for extra support and longevity.
Just the Right Length
We listened to your feedback loud and clear: shorts should hit just above the knee. And that's exactly what ours does. Not too long, not too short—the Classic Shorts gracefully fall just above the kneecap, with enough length for a turn-up if you’re that way inclined.
Shorts for the long run
Nothing's worse than shorts that start struggling just when the summer really gets going. To make sure that these see it out this summer and many to come, we reinforced all the key areas with bar tacks so they can take the stress. Small details that go a long way.
Functional Pockets
Two front pockets and two back pockets for your wallet, hands and whatever else you carry around with you. The front pockets are angled and reinforced with bar tacks too, while the welted back pockets are top-stitched with extra-durable corded thread. Safe to stay they’re staying put.
Not fade away
Our Summer Shorts are now available in five colours: Navy, Camel, Forest Green, Grey Blue, and Rust. Each shade has been carefully selected by you and dyed to withstand the test of time. Choosing one is the hard bit. In fact, having a couple so you can rotate them is a smart move.

Delivery costs
We deliver worldwide, with the cost being automatically calculated at checkout. For all deliveries to the UK, within the European Union, Switzerland and Norway we charge a flat fee of 9€. For other European countries we charge 15€, please check our FAQ for the full list of countries included. All other countries are charged at 25€.
Easy to change sizes
If you get the wrong size or colour, fear not, we will exchange your item no questions asked. These are free for orders in the European Union and the UK. For all other countries, we only ask you to cover the cost of the return and we’ll take care of the cost of sending out any exchange. Just log into your Asphalte account and we’ll get that sorted.
