A Shawl Bet
More Than Meets the Eye
The cardigan might get a bad rap, but it's a true staple in any wardrobe. It's cosy, soft, and, flatters with its long V-neck opening. At its best, the cardigan blends the sophistication of a blazer with the snugness of a chunky knit. And if we may say so ourselves, The Shawl Cardigan does just that.
We Went All-In
Let’s be honest, not all cardigans are created equal. Ours is loaded with a full kilo of ultra-soft Merino wool. It’s carded, not combed, meaning it’s plush, warm and airy. In other words, it’s a cocoon of insulation that stays breathable while keeping you toasty.
The Pearl Rib Reinvented
We went with a unique ‘pearl rib’ knit, using two yarns to create a textured surface that packs a punch. This technique uses twice as much wool, creating a much denser knit that’s more resilient and less likely to stretch out. Does it perform better than the other ones out there? It shawl does.
That Shawl Collar
Our shawl collar isn't just for show, it’s a built-in scarf with a dash of elegance thrown in for good measure. It’s designed to keep your neck warm at all times and without any fuss. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll never look back.
Cut to Flatter
Finding a cardigan that doesn’t turn into a baggy mess is hard. The struggle is real. That’s why we’ve tightened the ribbing to ensure it holds its shape. The fit’s gently tailored, cut close to the body whilst comfortably accommodating a few layers without looking squeezed. Comfort is key, as is a full range of movement. We made sure you have it all.
Rock-Solid Details
We’re serious about our finishes, and this cardigan’s no exception. Think raglan sleeves for a soft look, sturdy natural Corozo buttons that won’t back down, and ribbing reinforced with elastane to keep everything in place. It’s built to last, and last, and last…
A Colour for Every Mood
Our cardigan comes in four shades that strike the perfect balance between classic and cool: deep navy, rich taupe-infused brown, lush bottle green, and a crisp off-white that’s as creamy as it is warm.
How to Keep It Fresh
Treat your Shawl Collar Cardigan right, and it’ll take care of you for the rest of your life. No joking. We recommend dry cleaning, but if you’re washing at home, go for a cold wash cycle and skip the spin cycle. Lay it flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
It’s the Comeback Kid
The Shawl Collar Cardigan has officially shed its old-fashioned reputation. Reinvigorated with a modern touch, it’s now back at the pinnacle of warmth and style. Thanks to a full kilo of carded Merino wool, you’ll never want to take it off. Preorders are open now—don't sleep on it!
