Deans’ Blue Jeans

Big Blue

A true legend of workwear that’s become a global icon, jeans are hands down the most popular kind of slacks in the world. Tied to the gold rush and the American dream, they’re steeped in stories of adventure, the great outdoors, and the quest for freedom. Our Straight Cut Jeans are a nod to that rich history, full of character and charm.

For the love of denim

Jeans are simply trousers cut from denim—a cotton twill often dyed indigo. To get it just right, we teamed up with Candiani, the eco-friendly denim masters from Lombardy. They innovate tirelessly, creating denim that’s clean and sustainable. From clever water recycling to advanced tech like Kitotex®, Indigo Juice® or Sound Dye, they lead the way in making the blue fabric greener. Our denim? It’s a technical and ecological marvel, as beautiful as it is innovative.

The most American of European fabrics

Crafting denim like ours in Italy? No small feat. With Candiani’s help, we combined the grit of US jeans with the deluxe texture of Japanese denim. It took two years of fine-tuning to get the grain, hand, and feel spot on—thick, sturdy, and built to last, with a patina that tells your unique story.

And selvedge, to boot

Denim enthusiasts, take note: our Straight Cut Jeans are made from selvedge fabric. Turn the hem inside out, and you’ll spot the iconic red edge. Selvedge comes from narrow, old-school ‘shuttle’ looms, which make fabric rich in charm and character. It’s all about those lovely imperfections that give your jeans soul and personality.

Straight and true

True to the name, these jeans have a clean straight cut. Unlike slim cuts that taper, these stay straight from the knee down, with a 19.5 cm leg opening (size 30). Plus, the mid-rise waist keeps you comfy all day long.

Till death do you apart

At 15 Oz (1 oz =28g/m2, our denim punches above industry standards (most jeans hover around 11-12 Oz.) This thicker fabric isn’t just for show—it’s made to last, ageing beautifully over time and guaranteeing neigh-on durability.

Hard as rock finishes

Durability is our mission. These jeans, woven and made in Europe, cost under 100€ and are built to last decades. We reinforced it all with bartacks around the usual stress points, and added nice metal rivets, robust zamak buttons and 100% cotton pocket bags you’ll enjoy slipping your hands into. They’re ready for anything life throws at them and then some.

If life’s a rodeo, these are the ones for it

Our Straight Cut Jeans combine heritage and modernity in a 15 Oz selvedge that’s as tough as the jeans worn by the original gold diggers. Except with these you’ve already stricken gold, as thanks to Candiani, they’re as eco-friendly as they are full of personality. As for the boots to go with them, well, that’s your call.
