Care guide for the Classic Sneakers

Just because you’re tough doesn’t mean you can’t be sensitive - the same is true from your Classic Sneakers. A bit of tenderness can go a long way.

A few tips to show you how to care for your favourite sneakers:

• Avoid wearing them for days on end. If you alternate your pairs, they’ll go the extra mile for you.
• Keep them in a dry and dust-free place when you store them and in a shoe-tree if possible.
• Clean them regularly. Don’t wait until it’s too late and the dirt has settled in permanently. If you take a minute to brush them after wear they’ll reward you for years to come.
• For the full-grain we recommend a sneaker care kit such as this one. It’s a little investment but you’ll be able to use it on any of your shoes that require a little TLC. This one will do it for those who have gone for a suede version.
• Make sure you waterproof them to keep the rain and the damp out. There are lots of treatments to choose from, just make sure you get one that’s suitable for the type of leather you have. These are available at most local shoe repair stores.
