THE TOUGH SWEATSHIRT WITH A SOFT SIDE
A TRUE HEAVYWEIGHT
Our Perfect Sweatshirt's made from 100% organic cotton. Weighing in at 500g/m2, it's in a different weight class than most sweatshirts, without ever being too warm. For added comfort points, the inside is brushed for a super-soft finish. Yep, it feels good.
LAB APPROVED
To make sure our Sweat was up to the task we had it put through its paces in an independent lab and we can safely say that the Perfect Sweatshirt didn't make a fuzz about it. It scored 4.5/5 which means almost no pilling. This thing’s made to last.
UPPER CUT
The cut is straight with slightly narrowed side seams to create a sharp, subtly tailored look. It also helps to avoid the kind of annoying and awkward bumps that you can get with boxy and billowy vintage sweatshirts. This one'll sit nicely on the waist.
MADE FOR MOVEMENT
Contrary to industry standards, our fabric is cut lengthwise and woven horizontally. Why? Well, this gives our Sweat more elasticity and aids movement—perfect for morning sun salutations and impromptu Mexican waves. We also added two panels down the side as a tribute to the classics Sweats of yore.
STURDY STITCHING
Thick cotton means nothing if the stitching isn’t up to task, so to make sure our Sweat stayed firmly in one piece we harnessed the power of flat-lock stitching. A classic workwear technique, this tried-and-tested method uses three interwoven threads to hold each panel in place. Leave the ripped clothes to David Banner.
RAGLANS TO RICHES
See how those sleeves run from the shoulders right to the collar? That’s because they’re raglan sleeves. Not only do these look good, adding a bit of 1950s sportswear flavour to the proceedings, but they also help with arm reach. Now there’s no excuse not to change that light-bulb. Sorry...
PROTECT YA NECK
A reliable crew neck collar is the backbone of a well-made Sweat. Ours is made with 10% elastane so it stays firmly snug on your neck and keeps that pesky draft out. We also added chunky ribbed organic cotton to the waist and the cuffs so everything stays in place.
ROLL WITH IT
That fact that our fabric is dyed in rolls might sound like a fairly inconsequential detail, but wait... it actually means our Sweat keeps its vibrant colour for longer. A good Sweatshirt gets a lot of wear, so it’s only right that it’s built to withstand a good few spins in a washing machine.
ONE SWEAT TO RULE THEM ALL
Dressed up... dressed down... dressed all around... our Sweatshirt has been made with life in mind—whatever you’ve got planned. Whether you’re heading our for a run or taking the train into town, it’s the kind of thing you’ll always be reaching for.
