But if putting your legs on public display isn’t your thing, fear not. The Summer Trousers’ll keep you cool and your dignity intact.
The 100% linen version
When it comes to summer fabrics, linen reigns supreme. Ours is grown in northern France, then spun and woven in Italy at Leomaster, meaning it travels in total under 1,000 miles which is unheard of in our trade! The result? A fantastic 270g/m² fabric which is light but not flimsy. And as you know, linen breaths life into summer. Literally. It’s breathable, absorbent, naturally temperature-regulating, hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and tough as nails. Comfortable, sustainable, practical, and damn good-looking. Enough said?
The 100% cotton version
If linen isn’t your thing, meet its 100% cotton counterpart. This one’s woven from premium Spanish cotton labelled RegenAgri, which means it’s farmed using regenerative agriculture methods. Expertly spun and woven in Italy by Candiani, this 240g/m² lightweight twill is soft, airy, and durable. The weave adds just the right amount of texture, making these trousers as light as a feather and a worthy alternative to the linen.
The right fit
We’ve struck a balance between comfort and style just like you asked for. Roomy enough through the waist and thighs to guarantee a full range of movement, tapering just enough from there to the hem to sharpen up the look. This means total freedom without looking sloppy. The perfect middle ground, if we do say so ourselves.
A waistband with benefits
Turn these bad boys over, and you’ll spot some subtle gathering at the back. Don’t panic—it’s not a design flaw. We’ve developed a semi-elasticated waistband that sits just right without constricting you. At the front? A classic waistband, no surprises there. Business in the front, comfort in the back.
The details that matter
We’re all about the finishing touches, and these are no exception. Two side pockets at the front, two welt pockets at the back, double topstitching along the leg, reinforced belt loops, YKK metal zip, and reinforced stress points. The kind of Asphalte quality you’ve come to expect.
A word on upkeep
Nothing tricky here—just turn them inside out, stick to similar colours, and pop them in a 30°C wash with a max 600 rpm spin cycle. Air-dry them, and if need be, give a quick press with the iron (cotton at 110°C, linen at 150°C). But no need to overdo the washing — every 10-15 wears is plenty barring some catastrophe at the breakfast buffet.

If you get the wrong size or colour, fear not, we will exchange your item no questions asked. These are free for orders in the European Union and the UK.
