ITALIANS DO IT BETTER
A winter jacket needs a winter-proof fabric—so we opted for some hefty 538g/m2 wool, woven in Italy, which we combined with just enough recycled polyester to make the jacket more stable. Not only is this majestic material super toasty, but because it’s been brushed it’s got a really nice soft feel too.
STRICTLY CLASSIC
The Winter Bomber has a classic boxy shape inspired by vintage flight jackets. Think Brando in On the Waterfront and you’re anchoring in the right dock. It’s sharp, but not too short—giving you plenty of room to move.
PROTECT YA NECK
As you’ve probably noticed, the Winter Bomber has a particularly tasty shearling collar, one that’s 82% wool and 18% recycled polyester. A wonder of both form and function, it looks sharp and is just right for turning up when the wind’s howling and you want to keep your jugular out of the cold.
SLEEVES THAT STAY PUT
Baggy sleeves that don’t stay put aren’t much fun, so we finished our cuffs with heavy-duty ribbing to keep them firmly in place. The same goes for that hem—giving the Winter Bomber a comfortable, reliable fit.
THE INSIDE LINE
Backing up that toasty wool blend you’ll find a comfortable cotton torso lining and some seriously slick viscose lining the sleeves — meaning you’ll never be the last one stood in the pub struggling to put your jacket on again.
HANDY HAULAGE
For pockets we went for quality over quantity, with two big hand-warmer pockets on the front, along with a covert press-stud inside pocket for your important bits and bobs. Warm hands and safe keys, what more do you need?
SHARP AND SUBTLE
Definitely on the more sophisticated side of the bomber jacket spectrum, there’re no faux military badges, extraneous epaulettes or shoulder pockets here. Even that chunky YKK zip got the stealth treatment, hidden behind a fabric band that’ll help keep things exceedingly classy.
CONSTRUCTED WITH CARE
The Winter Bomber was made in Bulgaria by our good friends at Pelintex. To paraphrase the great Troy McLure, you may remember them from such outerwear delights as the M-65 Jacket and the Peacoat. You’re in good hands.

Delivery costs
We deliver worldwide, the cost of which is automatically calculated at checkout. For all deliveries to the UK, European Union countries, Switzerland and Norway we charge a flat fee of 9€. For other European countries we charge 15€, please check our FAQ for the full list of countries included. All other countries are charged at 25€.
Easy to change sizes
If you get the wrong size, fear not, we accept returns and exchanges. For orders in Europe these are free, and for countries, in the rest of the world we ask you to pay the return and we will take care of the cost of sending out an exchange. Just log into your Asphalte account and we’ll get that sorted.
