Wool that strikes a card
Our Half-Zip Jumper is knitted from 100% rustic carded wool, the best option for this type of garment due to its very high natural durability. It won’t lose its shape, but above all it's the warmest thing we could get our hands on to keep you toasty through winter.
Warm from neck to hip
This proper hit of wool is knitted in a dense ‘purl’ rib that won’t shapeshift over the years and keep you warm and looking good. It’s purpose-built accordingly, and weighing in with 650g of the good stuff it’s up to the task.
Bobbles at bay
Apart from its rustic appeal, one of the other perks of carded wool is that it bobbles much less than other yarns. Add to that an above-average 25-micron thick fibre and you've got yourself a reassuringly heavy-weight jumper. It means you sacrifice a little softness but with an item like this, it’s well worth it.
Keep on truckin’
Our French friends call this sort of jumper a ‘trucker’s jumper.’ And if you’re trying to get yourself and a heavy cargo down a treacherous mountain road in one piece, then the last thing you need is a cold, stiff neck. This one stands a full 9cm tall and is knitted in a naturally elastic 1x1 tubular rib that gently wraps around your neck. No neck-wringing here.
Why KK?
This jumper delivers turtleneck comfort with an extra dimension. You can wear it with the collar open on warmer days, or close it up when it’s blowing a howl. It’s designed to look good either way, the eye-catching YKK ring-pull being the cherry on top.
What you say is what you get
You wanted this jumper to be not too tight, not too loose - just super comfortable. On your good advice, we've revised it down by half a size for a more tailored, less boxy fit.
New yarns, new colours
On the yarn side of things, we've changed everything. We went for the Nadir range by the Italian folks at Olimpias. This is a premium, hard-wearing yarn that complies to strict environmental standards that are as sustainable as they come. And, of course, it’s now available in a host of new timely colours, so we'll start wrapping this up and leave you to admire the beautiful hues.
