A look that’s been in since 10BC.
Ok, maybe 10BC’s a bit of a stretch. But the Henley’s steeped in history all the same, the go-to for archers, merry men, rowers and — now — anyone who wants a long-sleeve tee with a bit more about it. With new colours and textures in the mix, this all-rounder’s ready to go with anything you fancy - to a point.
A should-be staple, but you told us most weren’t up to scratch...

Full-option T-shirt
Your All-in-One Tee Upgrade
Let's say it how it is, the Henley is like the T-shirt's more savvy cousin. With its slick ribbing and iconic button placket, it's basically a full-option tee. Whether you wear it solo or under a jacket, it's bound to become a wardrobe favourite.
The Classic and the New Kid
Our Henley comes in two options to suit your taste. First up, the tried, tested classic jersey loved by over 18,000 Asphalte customers. All it takes is to run your hand over either fabric to get the appeal. And that’s before you get into the detail. Read on.
Pad yourself on the back
A textured knit that’s as easy to the eye as it is to wear. That’s all thanks to its honeycombed construction, where the knit lends it a particular (and beautiful) characteristics that makes our Henley stand out in the crowd.
Organic Goodness, Plus a Dash of Style
No nasties here – our Henleys are 100% organic cotton. They're a bit heavier than your average tee, weighing in at 220g and 325g/m2 respectively. Translation? They're built to last and offer a really good drape.
Twist-Proof Fit, Guaranteed
Henleys have a bad rap for twisting out of shape and end up looking like glorified pyjamas. Not on our watch. We've tailored the sides to fit just right. Thanks to the reassuringly heavy jersey and sturdy seams, this cut isn't going to budge anytime soon. Except maybe straight to the top of your jersey pile.
Buttoned Up and Stylish
The cherry on top? Our band collar with its iconic button placket. A staple for demanding sports, military or workwear throughout history, with three bio-sourced resin buttons. Consider it your very own eco-friendly air-con.
Keeping It Together
We've lined the button placket with a matching organic cotton poplin to keep it looking good wash after wash. No saggy necklines here – just practicality with an eye for detail.
Borrowing from perfect
Fans of our Perfect T-shirt will recognise our signature triple-layer collar on the Henley. We sandwiched the jersey between two layers of ribbing to ensure extra stability. It's an old-school detail that you just don’t see much these days.
Ribbing FTW
The 10cm ribbing on the cuffs will keep things in order. Slip it on, slip it off. Push the sleeves up, pull them back down. However fidgety you get, your cuffs will keep bouncing right back to their original shape. This is another tried-and-tested workwear detail we’re putting back on the map.
