That's right. Why invest in a key holder when you can stick your keys in your back pocket? For two reasons, although each would be reason enough: the first is security, the second is style. Basically, it's the kind of accessory whose value and aesthetic is underestimated. Once you've tried it, you can’t do without it.
Well-tanned leather
Your future Key Holder is made out of vegetable-tanned leather. For the record, this is an age-old method that uses natural tannins (extracted from plants - leaves, bark, that sort of thing) to treat the hide. Unlike chrome tanning, the most common in the industry, this natural process does not release any toxic waste and produces a sustainable, hypoallergenic leather that develops a beautiful patina over time.
And it's from round the corner
Formidable! This vegetable tanning takes place at the Sovos tannery in the east of France. It's a real source of pride to work locally, especially with craftsmen of this calibre. They have been working with leather since 1864, so safe to say, you can put your trust in them.
Robust metalwork
We mentioned security, and we mean it. When you make a key holder, it’s pretty important that any key stays on it. That's why we've opted for metal components that guarantee Fort Knox-level reliability. The snap hook and split ring are made of brass with an antique finish. Copper-zinc alloy is tough stuff.
Made in France
Encore formidable! This key ring is made in the Pyrenees, South of France, by the Façon Cuir. They’re renowned for their expertise in upholstery and leather goods. If they’ve got the know-how to make a saddle, they can probably safely handle a key ring, right?

Delivery costs
We deliver worldwide, with the cost being automatically calculated at checkout. For all deliveries to the UK, within the European Union, Switzerland and Norway we charge a flat fee of 9€. For other European countries we charge 15€, please check our FAQ for the full list of countries included. All other countries are charged at 25€.
Easy to change sizes
If you get the wrong size or colour, fear not, we will exchange your item no questions asked. These are free for orders in the European Union and the UK. For all other countries, we only ask you to cover the cost of the return and we’ll take care of the cost of sending out any exchange. Just log into your Asphalte account and we’ll get that sorted.
