Two Choices
This year, the Winter Parka returns in two versions: wool and moleskin designed to offer warmth without compromising on style
- Wool: Its 2 kilos of wool act like a smart and natural thermal and water-repellent shield, keeping you snug and dry in the most extreme conditions.
- Cotton Moleskin: Made with 100% organic cotton, this lighter version is tightly woven using a historic workwear technique for unfailing durability. It also incorporates an eco-friendly water-repellent treatment which will keep you dry even during the worst downpours and the sort of good looks you thought you'd never see again.
Redesigned Hood for Full Protection
We reworked the hood to offer enhanced protection against the elements. Now closer-fitted and wind-resistant, this hood provides reliable protection for both the wool and moleskin versions and keeps out rain and pesky draughts so you stay warm without compromising on style.
Specialised Insulation
Each version of the Winter Parka comes with a specific insulation strategy.
- Wool: Features a viscose lining that enhances comfort without adding bulk, making layering easy.
- Cotton Moleskin: Equipped with a ripstop lining and recycled polyester wadding, combining warmth with tear resistance. Perfect for the daily strain.
Tailored Fit
The Winter Park has been designed with a straight cut and a mid-thigh length, ideal for layering over your winter clothing without succumbing to the dreaded ‘onion’ effect. Whether on foot or your bike, you'll have plenty of freedom of movement. This cut has been extensively tested to ensure a perfect fit, whatever you’re up to.
Pocket Power
The Winter Parka stands out for its impressive functionality. With two hip patch pockets, two chest pockets and a secret inside pocket, there's plenty of storage to safely lug around all your essentials. The pockets are reinforced for durability and to add structure to the silhouette. You'll never have to choose between practicality and looking good again.
Foolproof closure
The Winter Parka closure system features a durable YKK zipper backed up with a buttoned wind flap to block cold air and moisture. This technical detail is often sacrificed in many parkas, but we wanted to give you the real deal - a truly weather-resistant and durable jacket.
Care Tips
- Wool Wool is a precious material that deserves to be looked after with care. For this parka, we recommend that you take it to the dry cleaners once a year, preferably just before winter. Store it in a cover, away from any damp, before taking it out again the following year.
- Cotton Moleskin: Machine washable at 30°C, moleskin is easier to care for. Air-dry it on a hanger, then iron it at 150°C without applying any steam to reactivate its water-repellent treatment and restore its technical properties.
Traçabilité
What goes into making your Winter Parka? The materials have travelled a total of 22,754 km (14,138 miles) from field to doormat.
